Welcome!

The promise of Christianity is an intimate, real connection with God, both here and in the next life. One of the main themes of the Bible is of a God who is “with us”. An abundant journey with God in this life is what we are supposed to be living. Jesus said, in John 10:10, he came so that we can experience abundant life.

Yet, for many, this is not the life we experience. For some, this kind of life is inconceivable because God seems unknowable. For others, life as a Christian is made up of rules, striving, failing and never being enough. It has become a life of religious practices, trying to please God, rather than of a relationship living in the love of God and loving Him back.

LifeQuest Community is an online community of Christ Followers who desire to see the character of Christ made alive in our lives and to have the works of Christ performed through our lives. It is a community that believes dialogue is better than division, that tries to hold truth in charity and humility, and longs for a time when the Body of Christ can maintain its diversity and yet experience unity. It is a place where people may ask questions, search for answers, and together learn to live the life Christ desires for us experience through his death and resurrection.

We welcome you, wherever you are in your spiritual journey, to join us as we learn together what it means to live an abundant life in Christ Jesus, to live a life with God.

LifeQuest Community is dedicated to helping people find and develop a deep, personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  While we often post individual blogs, we also have a few blog series that will help you begin your journey with Christ, deepen your relationship with Him, and experience His presence through all aspects of your life.

The links at the top of the page are major topics we continue to develop. Not everything we write about can be limited to one blog post. When necessary, we write a series of blogs, which you may want to read in order. To help with this, you will find all of our series are listed under the page tabs above with a link to the first blog. If a blog is part of a series, there will be a link to the blog that precedes it and to the one that follows it. So if you happen to find a blog that is in the middle of a series, it will be easy for you to find the rest of blog series.
